Just a reminder that when you get an email thru the badge registry, if you hit reply, you have screwed up already. You need to take the members address out of the header, and reply to their address...not the Badge Registry...because it comes to me, and I delete it.

Anyone can attach photos into the guest book. Just click on the "attach a file..." written in green when you start a post, and go from there.

My email address has not changed. You can send anything to me at "hammer@campvets.ca" and it will come to me.

As most are aware, I have been on the road for about two weeks, and that is going to be continuing for the next two weeks, so please be patient. Some places I go have no internet access, so when I do get to a computer, I am playing catch up...and then there's that career thing I have as well...

Get yourself a cheap $300 Acer laptop from Walmart, it fits nicely in a DVD player/viewer case that you attach on the back of a vehicle seat and get a mouse. The PC has internal camera, mike and speakers. I got one for my birthday and I bring it with me on the road. Most hotels have wireless internet or you can buy a USB internet access stick from a mobile phone company. Get the CFPM to pay for it, you boost troop morale with this CAMPVets site. The CFPM office can afford the small cost and you can stay in touch with the deployed troops anywhere in the world.

Keep up the good work,

L. Marcel Dupras

Mike, what about if we want to speak/interact with you?

I was visiting with CWO(Ret) Church today and he asked me what is happening
CWO(Ret) George Powell. Do you know how to connect with George Powell?

Mike,

How's thing's? You probably don't remember me but I was an MP from 1980 to 1988 and then joined the RCMP.(I added a thread below). I have a friend of mine who is a retired police officer who collects and trades police cap badges and shoulder badges. Saying he has about three hundred or more would be an understatement. He resides in Saint John NB. I have already sent him my collection of eighty and he had them all but two. He trades and buys them. Anyway if you know of any of the MP's who are into this his name is Augie Lofstrom and they can e-mail him at amloft@nbnet.nb.ca.
Merry Christmas,
Mike
